Set in the heart of Fredericton’s beautiful Odell Park, the Flyin’ Feet Five Miler winds through the park’s main trails, where runners experience nature in all its variety - shaded woodland paths, cool streams, open green spaces, and the vibrant Fredericton Botanical Gardens!

Live musicians positioned along the course will keep your energy high and set the rhythm as you tackle the final big hill at mile four. And you won’t be running alone - Tutapona teams in Uganda will be running alongside participants, joining in from the refugee settlements where we work, while children’s groups in Iraq take part in a fun run.

The morning kicks off with a Kids 1K Fun Run, followed by door prizes and giveaways to wrap up the event. This challenging and joy-filled race, hosted by Smythe Street Church, supports Tutapona’s work addressing the mental health needs of refugees and people displaced by war and violent conflict.

Run locally, but join with others around the world!

Our teams in Uganda, Iraq, and Ukraine will be running alongside us here in NB. We want to be able to create the greatest impact for refugee mental health that we can by raising awareness and support on four continents!

HUGE THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS FOR MAKING THIS event POSSIBLE!

Why is Tutapona’s work so important?

Tutapona exists to provide mental health support to some of the world’s most war-affected communities. We do this through group programming and individual support sessions delivered by all local staff in each programming location.

Since we began this work 17 years ago, over 77,000 men, women, and children from the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Uganda, and now Ukraine have found the courage, resilience, and strength to begin moving forward. Children see futures ahead of them. Families experience restoration. Communities are living in peace. And hope is growing.

Will you run with us for mental health?
