We want to build strong, courageous,

and resilient kids right here at home!

For over 15 years, we have been providing quality, group based, mental health programming for people affected by armed conflict so that they can begin to heal from what they’ve faced, and the children we support are not just surviving - they are thriving!

Watching children learn how to process adversity and hardship made us think about how we could use these same attributes to impact children in our own part of the world. These aren’t just skills needed for those who have experienced war, but are beneficial to kids everywhere.

That is why we created MISSION: Heroes - a free VBS based on what we’ve learned through our overseas children’s programming - to help cultivate resilience in children everywhere!
